Camp – Rifle Gap State Park
Join us for Memorial Day Weekend at Rifle Gap State Park. Bring your tent, RV, travel trailer, camping van, Subaru, or whatever else you want to sleep in. We'll be camping May 22-25 for three nights and we'll have optional hikes on Saturday and Sunday. You will need to make your own individual campsite reservation through Colorado Parks & Wildlife (cpw.state.co.us) for Rifle GAP State Park. We will not be at a group site, however, we'll have happy hour each evening at the leader's campsite. Bring your kayak or paddleboard (if you have it) and enjoy some lazy time on the reservoir. All water endeavors are considered non-CMC activities.

Bring your:
1. Food
2. Watercraft if you have it.
3, Adult beverage if you want it.
4. Be prepared for your hike should you sign up for it. (It's completely optional).
5. Towel if you want to partake of the free showers at the campground.
We will meet as a group on Friday evening, May 22, 2026. The location of the leader's campsite will be provided at a later time. There will be one hike on Sunday to Three Forks (which is a beautiful hike a few miles away). This hike will be posted separately as an official CMC hike and a reminder will be provided to those who sign up for this camping trip.

Don't forget this CMC rule: if you make a reservation through CPW and then cancel, please do not expect a refund from CMC. This is a transaction between you and CPW.
