This maybe a flail-a-thon, I have never climbed nor attempted to climb Walking with a Ghost 5.11c. We will attempt to setup a top rope from Ivy League 5.9+ but may fail miserably. I also have not climbed 5.11c in over a decade so be ready for some "you got to be kidding me" moments.

This is not a beginner class - but it may look like one ;-)

We will meet at the Tunnel 1 Trailhead located at 39.7498, -105.2510 at  8:50 am for a 9 am departure to the crag.

Required Equipment

Required Equipment

All personal gear including a PAS and climbing helmet is required. Bring a 60 m rope (see note below), quickdraws, anchor materials and radios if you have them.

NOTE: There are 2 routes that take a longer rope; Dirt Trek 5.8, 105' and Made in the Shade 5.9- 100' to the lower anchors, 125' to the upper anchors. I have no experience on Dirt Trek. For Made in the Shade the climbing between the lower and upper anchors is unspectacular and the lower anchors are recommended.
