Climb – Clear Creek Canyon

Rescheduled Sport Climbing LIT trip for Alex Yang. This will be a sport climbing trip at the Cats vs. Dogs Wall. Cats vs. Dogs Wall is a fun wall full of moderates on the west side of Tunnel 5. Most of the climbs are in the 5.7-5.9 range. It is right next to the Catslab which also contains many moderates in case Cats vs. Dogs wall gets full.

Climbing Qualifications or Prerequisites:
- Must be a graduate of CMC’s Sport Lead Climbing class. Equivalent lead climbing experience may be substituted with trip leader approval. Please contact the trip leader and describe your lead climbing experience.
- Must be a confident lead belayer
- Must be comfortable leading in the 5.7-5.9 range

Meeting Location: West side of Tunnel 5 at 2:00 pm

- Belay device (Assisted braking device preferred, Tube style device OK)
- Sport anchor building materials (e.g. cordalette and four lockers or similar)
- 60+ meter rope
- Quick Draws (most routes are 8-9 bolts)
- Personal climbing gear as you see fit (prussiks, lockers, etc)
- Stick clip (if you have one)
- Water
- Snacks
