Hiking – Arches National Park
Due to muddy road & wash conditions to access the Eye of the Whale, the hike is being changed. Instead we'll hike to the base of the Monitor & Merrimac buttes from UT-313. We'll circle the smaller easternmost butte & return.

This is an all off-trail hike, mostly along a wash bottom & over slickrock but expect muddy conditions in places
Meet at 8:30 a.m. in a paved parking area along UT-313, 250' past the UT-313 / US-191 junction. Look for a kiosk with a sign reading "Park Information". If you pass the entrance to Moab Giants, you've gone too far.
