Hiking – Missing Route/Place
A short hike combined with an easy scramble on the east ridge of Arthur's Rock. An alternative to the normal trail for those inclined towards a bit of rock scrambling. With short access to northern Colorado towns, this is a good option for a half-day outing.

Hike the well maintained Arthur's Rock trail for about a mile to near the bottom of the east side rock formation. The scramble up the east ridge involves slab climbing, a chimney and a moderately exposed ramp. Bring a helmet. If you might want a rope belay over a short section of moderately exposed terrain, please inform the trip leader so that we can bring appropriate gear.
