PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING UP
Participants will be expected to be able to travel constantly, without requiring a break, at a minimum of 2.0 mph uphill for an hour at a time.
There will be a brief break about 20 minutes in for a layer adjustment. After that, to maximize the aerobic endurance benefits of the hike, breaks will be at 1 hr intervals only. It is each participant's responsibility to hydrate, fuel, and biobreak within a 5 minute window so the group can continue along the route without needing to stop during the next 1 hr effort.
Requesting permission for this hike indicates that:
1. The participant has read to and agrees to the above hiking format, and has reviewed the route details (length, gain, steepness, etc.)
2. The participant vouches for the fact their aerobic fitness and body condition are sufficient to be able to complete the hike as described above
The trailhead parking lot is relatively small. To minimize our impact on the lot and other users, carpooling is highly encouraged.
