We'll be out from 8 to around 10 AM, approximately 1.6 miles round trip, on mostly level dirt trail (few steep up/downs along riverbank). Riparian and shrub habitats. Leisurely pace. No dogs please. For greater enjoyment download Merlin App to your phone; it is free and easy to use. I’ll demonstrate.

Meet at trailhead and be ready to hike at 8am.

It is 7.2 miles west on Hwy 160 from intersection of Hwys 160 and 550 headed south. Turn right onto Animas View Drive, and the parking area is right there.
