Due to the possibility of afternoon thunderstorms and a 6-7 hour hike duration, an early start time is prudent. Pueblo participants will meet at 5:00 am at a location TBD. The Pueblo group will meet the Colorado Springs hikers at the Walmart in Woodland Park (19600 US-24, Woodland Park CO, 80863) at 6:00 am. We will car caravan to the Ute Creek Trailhead with an arrival time of 7 am and hike start time of no later than 7:15 am. The hike starts at the trailhead.

Permission of the leader is required to register for the hike. This is a challenging hike that will require completion of recent hikes of near similar difficulty. Please text me at (702) 480-5704 or email me at hooperjacqueline@yahoo.com to let me know if you would like to join the group. If I have not hiked with you previously, I will want to know what the distance and gain of hikes you have done in the last 2 months. I will register participants on the CMC website.

For those registered for the hike, I will email last minute details about the hike including weather information on Friday, May 26th.
