This is a 9+ mile challenging hike out-and-back with gains of 3,051 feet of elevation at an 11.4% grade, which rates it ‘difficult to very difficult’ hike. Much of the hike takes place above 10,000 feet in elevation

We will meet at Wooly Mammoth Section “BB” at 6:00 am and be ready to leave shortly thereafter.  We will drive to Vail and as there is no parking at Booth Lake, we will park at the Vail Village Parking
