1st Sunrise of the New Year from the purpose-built Sunrise Circle Amphitheater on Flagstaff Mtn. This is the time and place to set your intentions for the (var_time). Be prepared to sweat out some spirits in preparation for releasing yours.

Flagstaff Trail up to the Sunrise Amphitheater, then Gregory Canyon back down.
It is ~1.6 miles up and we will ascend in an hour or less. This is a spirited pace. Be prepared to sweat out some spirits in preparation for releasing yours.

06:15a Departure Gregory Canyon Trailhead Parking. Arrive earlier so you are ready to start hiking at 6:15. We have a date with the Sun and she does not wait.
Parking is free if your car is registered in Boulder County. Otherwise park on Baseline and walk up.
Sometimes this gate is not opened on time, so if the gate is locked, park on Baseline and we'll meet at the closed gate.
