Hiking – Boulder Open Space

Let's keep the mid-week hikes going! The Table Mesa - Bear Canyon Loop is a 4.2 mile hike, leaving NCAR and descending to Table Mesa Drive. We'll be primarily on Skunk Canyon, Mesa, and Bear Canyon trails before returning to the NCAR parking lot.

This will be a social hike at a comfortable ~2 mph pace.  We will probably be 2 - 2.5 hours, so back to the cars around 6.  Sunset is 4:45, so be ready for a little dusk / dark walking.

Let's collect in the NCAR parking lot on Wednesday 11/15 at 3:20 and be ready to depart at 3:30.  For convenience, let's meet up under the trailhead sign across the building's entry road from the parking lot.

Be sure you have your own 10 Essentials kit, a headlamp just in case, and appropriate clothing for the variable / cooling November weather.  Traction may or may not be needed, best to have it with you just in case.
