This morning hike is a double trip up Mnt Sanitas, inspired by Carlos, who did this double loop a few weeks ago. We’ll do two loops:

First Loop: Mnt Sanitas Trail to East Ridge to Sanitas Valley, 3.41 miles of pure joy

(optional) Second Loop: up Mnt Sanitas Trail, down Lion’s Lair to Sunshine Canyon Trail, 5.75 miles, but 4+ miles of this loop are after the summit and are downhill

Note you can drop out of the hike after the first loop if you want less abuse.

This is a fitness hike, we’ll be moving at a steady pace other than quick breaks at the summit and for wardrobe adjustments. I expect our first climb up Sanitas to be a bit more energetic than our second.

Meet at 6:30am, for a 6:35 start. Details and directions in pre-trip email.
