Join us for a quick Sunday morning steep uphill out-and-back hike. We will have just returned from two months at sea level and this is our usual go-to trail for re-acclimation to Colorado hiking.

We'll climb to the top of the trail to Windy Saddle Park, where there are restrooms, and divert right up the staircase to Mt Zion overlook, have a rest/snack and then return to the cars.
Meet at Chimney Gulch TH at 8:00am. There are dirt parking area(s) are along Hwy 6, across the road from the School of Mines. Due to the center median, you'll likely want to approach from the south-bound lane. Park where you can and meet here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/sMubxM5BKtc7R8Ep6
