Leave from Green River State Park at 8am.

Loop hike of Ding and Dang Canyons. North up Ding Canyon, return via Dang Canyon.  Trailhead is reached via I-70 to exit 149 (state hwy 24) then south 24 miles to temple mtn road (signed for goblin valley state park)-go west 5.2 miles to split, take left towards goblin valley state park, south 6 miles to right on dirt road, take this 6.7 miles to large parking area on right.  Road is a bit rough on last portion.

From trailhead, go west 1 mile, then bear right (north) to head up Ding Canyon. May be several water filled potholes to skirt. At top of Ding Canyon, will see pyramid shaped Ding Dang Dome to your left, coming to wash leading SE-follow this to entrance of Dang Canyon. More potholes which may be water filled to negotiate (depending on recent precip).  Turn left (east) at bottom of canyon and 1.5 miles back to trailhead.
