Hiking – Eagle's Nest Open Space

This is a FAMILY hike intended for families with children or grandchildren age 10+. Explore a quiet corner of the North Fork of the Cache La Poudre River on this loop hike, with "breathtaking views of the Laramie Foothills." Bring binoculars, because we may have a chance to view the golden eagles after whom this open space is named. Round trip distance is about 5.2 miles with 850 ft elevation gain. We will set a pace that accommodates all trip participants.

This hike is intended for FAMILIES with children/grandchildren age 10 or older.  Preference will be given to participants who sign up as a FAMILY (at least one adult and at least one child)--please email the trip leader BEFORE registration opens to sign up your family, with names and children's ages. 

After registration opens, anyone may join the hike.

Meet at NW corner King Soopers parking lot, 1842 N College Ave, Fort Collins, at 7:45am for an 8am departure.
