From the East Portal, we will follow the South Boulder Creek Trail for about 2.2 miles, where we will follow the Clayton Lake Trail up to Clayton Lake. From Clayton Lake, we will go off trail, following the stream drainage up to the south Iceberg Lake. From there we will continue off trail north to the north Iceberg Lake. and then on up to the Continental Divide and the CDT. Once on the ridge, we will follow the CDT south to near Rogers Pass, where we will take the Rogers Pass/South Boulder Creek trail down past Heart Lake and Rogers Pass Lake, and eventually back to the East Portal
We will meet 6:oo am at the Coors Tek Parking Lot in Golden, for a PROMPT 6:15am departure Here’s a link to it in Google Maps ( https://goo.gl/maps/VLqhSXXK5D52 ). We can also arrange meeting in Nederland/Eldora, or in Arvada near the junction of CO93 and CO72 (Coal Creek Canyon Road)
