This is a Bobcats hike. The hike is on a good trail. According to AllTrails it takes an average of 6 hours, 14 minutes to complete. There probably will be good fall colors. We'll hike up to the pass and depending on the group and weather, we may hike up to the summit of Eccles Peak.

Who are the Bobcats?

The Bobcats’ mission is to ensure a variety of challenging CMC trips, mostly on weekdays, all year long, for our mostly age 50+ constituents. We don’t have dues or elections and we invite all CMC members to sign up for any Bobcats trip.

The Bobcats publish an email newsletter on the 15th of each month, which includes the upcoming month’s trips that have just been opened for registration. You can subscribe to this newsletter in the Email Newsletter Preferences section of your CMC Profile.

We will meet at Wooly Mammoth Park and Ride, section BB, across from the Exxon gas station, at 6:30 AM so we can form carpools for the drive to the trailhead. We will leave at 6:35.  Here’s a Google Maps link to Wooly Mammoth: Wooly Mammoth Park-N-Ride · 18560 US-40, Golden, CO 80401
