Hiking – Empire Pass Mountains - Douglas Mountain
This hike is short and sweet. From Empire we will drive a short distance to Empire Pass. From the pass we will climb the ridge to Douglas Mountain and then out to the overlook where we can see the road to Empire diverge from I-70. We have all seen the overlook from the highway. The ridge climb will involve some route finding and maybe some scrambling.
