We will meet at the lower parking lot, near the intersection of Rt73 and Shadow Mountain Road at 8:50 for a 9:00 start time for the hike. We will walk counterclockwise (opposite what is in All Trails https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/shadow-pines-loop-trail ). There is no bathroom at the trailhead, but flush toilets can be accessed about 1 mile into the hike. This is an easy hike, with some rolling elevation change and a couple very narrow stream/puddle crossings.

Dogs are welcome, but not required. If you are bringing a dog, it must be on a 6 ft leash (not retractable leash) and under your control at all times. Please read and abide by club rules https://cmcdenver.org/groupresources/denver-group-dog-hikes-policy
