Hiking – Genesee Park - Chavez and Beaver Brook Trail Loop

This will be a faster pace hike (2.5 mph) for endurance. Hike should take us about 2.5 hours. We may be hiking back in the dark. Please bring a headlamp, enough water, 10 essentials and sturdy hiking shoes. If the group wishes and there is time, we'll stop for an after hike beverage in the area.

NOTE: In the case of afternoon storm, another activity such as trivia will be proposed in the Lakewood/Golden area. Please check your email for hike game plan or cancellation the day before.

Let's meet at the trailhead around 5:30 PM. The trailhead is located off of I-70, Chief Hosa Exit 253. Approximate address is 27448 Stapleton Dr, Golden, CO 80401. There is a parking lot just outside of the bison overlook area.
