Hiking – Genesee Park - Chavez and Beaver Brook Trail Loop
A beautiful forested hike down to a stream in Genesee Mountain Park. Please note that this hike was originally scheduled for July 3 but will now be on July 7.

This is a lovely shaded hike down to a stream. We will follow the loop counter clockwise. There are some water crossings with logs and rocks so you may want to bring your poles. We will find a nice spot along the stream to stop, have snacks and enjoy the scenery. We will follow the loop counter clockwise.
After the hike, we can have lunch at Launch near the park and ride if the group is interested.
We will meet at the Wooly Mammoth Park and Ride section DD at 7:50 am for an 8:00 am departure. It is a quick 15 minute drive from there to the trailhead.
Required Equipment
You may want poles for the water crossings.
