Since this hike is entirely above treeline, it could be windy and cold but also sunny. Be sure to have all appropriate layers. We'll have snack breaks and lunch at Geneva Mt. We will keep an eye on the weather and make an appropriate return to TH if weather warrants. On a short scouting hike there were some low to the ground alpine flowers including "alpine blue forget-me-nots"... my favorite. Also...many wonderful views of surrounding peaks!

A pre-hike email will be sent to all on roster the day before the hike with weather forecast, etc.
Mileage is 43 miles one way. Estimated gas cost is $43 divided by number of people in car including the driver.

10 essentials, layers for possible cold and wind, sunscreen, snacks, hiking poles, plenty of water.
