Trip

Hiking – Grand Mesa - Anderson Reservoir

This is an out and back, 6 mile hike, with minimal elevation gain and zero shade. It leads to a familiar reservoir but we will be starting at a different trailhead: Deep Creek #709 at Raben Cow Camp off of Lands End Road. This trail meanders through a meadow until we get to Anderson Reservoir #2 where we will gather for lunch in the trees. Tailgating at the end of the hike will be your reward for driving up on Labor Day Weekend. Bring a drink of your choice. The leader will provide chocolate cake and an ice chest for your drink.
