This is a joint trip with Western Slope Adventurers meetup (they have a separate registration, so don't sign up on both platforms). If there's a waitlist, we'll recruit another leader to add a hike in a nearby GGNCA canyon.
There are some dry waterfalls and large boulders in the canyon that may require use of your hands, not just your feet, which is why this is rated as moderate.
Meet to leave the public lot west of Montrose Autozone at 7:30am, or northeast side of Safeway Delta lot at 8am or make arrangements with leader to meet at trailhead. 4WD or high clearance AWD vehicle recommended for dirt road from Sidewinder lot to TH depending on conditions.

10 essentials, weather appropriate clothing. Be prepared for mud or icy conditions.
