The beginning of the route is popular with mountain bikers, but hopefully early morning mid-week will render it relatively quiet. This route has varied, relatively gentle terrain, transitioning from the plains to woodlands and grassy meadows with open views throughout. The nighthawk portion can have some mud. We will monitor conditions over the next few days.

For carpooling, meet at 7:25 at the Golden Gate Canyon Road parking lot near the intersection of route 93 and Golden Gate Canyon Road in Golden. Here is a link to that location. We will depart at 7:30.

If you tell the leader ahead of time, you can also meet the group at the Hall Ranch Bitterbrush trailhead at 8:30. Here is a link to the Trailhead Location.
