Hiking – High Line Canal
This walk will take us from Roxborough Park Road TH out to the Plum Creek siphon and back. It is hike #3 of 14 hiking sections along the canal. It covers segment 3 of the Highline Canal Guidebook, and is about 4.2 miles. If you are new to the area, want to stay active this winter, avoid I-70 traffic, or just enjoy walking the canal, come join us. We'll be walking most Fridays.

From the starting point at Roxborough Park Road TH we’ll walk along the canal to Plum Creek. Siphons and flumes carry canal water across the creek, but the trail does not cross this private property. We’ll return the way we came. This walk covers segment 3 of the Highline Canal Guidebook, roughly mile 7.2 to mile 9.4 and is about 4 miles RT. We walk at about 2.5 to 3 miles per hour, so even though the hike is easy for distance and elevation, it is not a slow hike.
We’ll meet at 8:50 at Roxborough Park Road TH, 11490 Roxborough Park Rd, Littleton, CO 80125 for 9:00am departure. This is not the state park of the same name. There are portolets at the TH.
