Hiking – Horsetooth Mountain Open Space
This will be a post Thanksgiving hike in the Horsetooth Mountain area. We will begin at Soderberg trailhead, hike Towers. Then hike either Springcreek trail or Mill Creek.

This will be a post Thanksgiving hike to work off extra some calories from your Thanksgiving Day feast. I don't have an precise route, but will begin at Soderberg trailhead and hike Towers to it's intersection with Springcreek and Mill Creek trails. We will then hike one or the other and loop back to Soderberg trailhead. Figure about an 8.5 mile hike. We will take a short breaks along the way and probably a longer break for lunch. We will not climb Horsetooth Rock.
Depending on the time and desire of the group, we may have a social get together at Me-Oh-My or perhaps Starbucks after the hike.
We will meet at JJ's, Taft & Harmony at 8:00 am. Those wishing to meet at Soderberg trailhead, let me know and be ready 8:15am.
Required Equipment
Depending on the weather, please be prepared with appropriate clothing. Trekking poles can be handy. I would also recommend microspikes. We may run into some icy spots in the shadows.
