Hiking – Kenosha Pass East
This is a leader in training graduate hike (LIT) for Ellen Weber. It will be an out-and-back hike on the Colorado Trail from the east side of Kenosha Pass through aspen and bristlecone pine forests to a turn-around point with good views of South Park and beyond. Elevation gain is moderate and altitude is 10,000 ft. May be adjusted if smoke conditions warrant.

This is a relatively easy hike (moderate if you've not been at 10,000 ft this season) with a maximum gradient of 8%. Please assess your altitude fitness.
We will meet at the Morrison Park & Ride, 3485 S. Rooney Road. Please arrive by 6:30 am for a prompt departure at 6:35 am. May move earlier if hot forecast warrants it.
