Hiking – Lair o' the Bear Park
This is a shorter Christmas Day/Hanukkah outing for rest, relaxation, and enjoyment OUTSIDE in Lair O' The Bear, a wonderful mountain park (This replaces Roxborough's closed South Rim's mud hike!)! We'll go east on fishing paths next to Bear Creek, then up on Bruin's Bluff and its gentle ups/downs. Then west to Creekside Loop and end there at approx 3 mi. We'll have had good exercise, fresh air and and an end to holiday stress (IF you had it!). Singing Christmas carols or Hanukkah songs is absolutely OK!

Required Equipment
It's been warm so we probaby won't need spikes, but bring them, just in case. I use a carbiner to hang them on my belt.. Bring WATER, a snack or lunch! It's Christmas Day AND Hannukah, so our aim is to relax, enjoy ourselves and this lovely park!
