Hiking – Loud's Cabin
We will follow the well marked trail up to Loud's Cabin where we will have lunch before heading back. 6.5 miles, 1800' elevation gain.

Hike begins and ends at the trailhead. We will have lunch at the cabin.
Note that the place of this hike is relatively slow. There may be a dog or two on this hike.
Participants need to have completed a hike of similar distance and elevation gain within the last 2 months. If you are unsure, please reach out before registering. Please contact the trip leader if you have any questions.
Meet at the upper most parking lot in North Cheyenne Canyon at 9 near the toilets.
For those interested in carpooling from Pueblo, meet in the southeast corner of the Albertson's parking lot off Highway 50 in Pueblo at 8.
Required Equipment
In addition to the 10 essentials, you may find poles helpful as there is considerable loose gravel on some steeper sections of trail. The ice has likely melted, but I have not been up to confirm. If there is ice, traction would be helpful.
