Hiking – Meadow Creek Trailhead

This hike has been changed to Meadow Creek due to smoke from the Willow Fire affecting the area around Lake Ann. The Meadow Creek hike is a pretty hike through forest and meadows up to Eccles Pass.

This is the third of 4 hikes near Leadville during July 20-23, and has been changed from Lake Ann to Eccles Pass due to smoke from the Willow Creek Wildfire.  Additional details will be provided to registered hikers.

The Meadow Creek Trailhead is located just off of I-70 exit 203, at Co Rd 1231, Frisco, CO 80443.  

Hikers coming from Boulder/Denver:  Meet at Wooly Mammoth Park n Ride section BB at 5:45 am for a 6:00 am departure.  Directions to the trailhead are here. 

Hikers coming from Leadville area:  Meet at the angled parking area on 12th Street at the Lake County Elementary School at 6:30 am for a 6:35 departure.  Lake County Elementary School is located at 130 W 12th St, Leadville, CO 80461.  Directions to the trailhead are here.
