Friendly, well socialized, leash trained, dogs are welcome.  Be prepared to pick up poo and take it with you.  An old peanut butter, or protein powder jar work well for carrying bags of poo in a backpack.  There are trashcans near the toilets.  Bring water for your pup(s).

Please text me at 719-569-5555 if we have not hiked together before, or you are bringing a dog.

Let's beat the heat by starting at 8AM.  Meet in the parking lot by the basketball courts.  The pace will be set by the slowest hiker.  The route will take 1-1.5 hours.  Bring water and sun protection.  Temps will start around 70* and raise to around 75* within the hour.

Directions:  From exit 94 off of I-25, take CO-45N (Pueblo Blvd) for 3.5 miles, turn right onto Reno Ave.  You'll be able to see the parking lots by the basketball courts.  We'll meet you there.

This trail, and directions to get there, can be found on CoTrex as Hobson Trail.

Please text me at 719-569-5555 if new to the group, or bringing a dog.

As always, check the weather forecast before you come.  At this time the forecast is for clear skies, temps in the low 70*s.  The trail is concrete.  Wear good walking shoes, protect yourself from the sun, consider rain gear.  Bring water and a snack.  If bringing a dog, bring a leash, poo bags, and water for them.
