Don't underestimate the steep 800' drop to a saddle on the way from Flora to Eva, nor getting up it on the way back. This hike is above tree line almost the entire time and we will be rewarded with nice views all round.

I will email a weather forecast 2 days before. If the forecast is lousy I'll have an alternate lower elevation hike ready as a substitute.

Part of the trail is steep, so bring hiking poles if you use them.

Let me know by email of any medical conditions that might affect you on the hike by Tuesday Aug. 16

We will meet at the Wooly Mammoth Park and Ride, Section BB.  It’s the first I-70 exit west of C-470.  Meet at 4:50 AM, for 5:00 am departure.  Here is a Google Maps link to Wooly Mammoth https://goo.gl/maps/XxGRPCB1kv1Crbtd7
