This is a  popular, fairly easy hike that leaves from the neighborhood. (Note: there are no restrooms on this hike.) The Nightbird Gulch Trail faces the south side of the mountain so the sun can be intense in the day time hours. It offers good views of downtown Denver and the surrounding front range. It should take about 3-4 hours to complete.
