The goal would be to summit Mount Harvard, hikers must be able to to keep a slow tp moderate pace 1.5-2mph - obviously much slower for the final ascent. There is a scramble to for the final stretch to the summit. This hike is not for beginners.
Carpool from Buena Vista - Meet at 5:45am at the Buena Vista Whitewater Park (park at the top of the bridge by the bathrooms). From there we will jump in the high clearance vehicles and head to the trailhead for a 6:30am start. Google maps link:https://maps.app.goo.gl/JcUY73WjpaaWGjxP8
For those who want to meet at the trailhead for this route is the North Cottonwood Creek trailhead, located outside of Buena Vista, Colorado. The trailhead is located at the end of Road 365. There is parking at the trailhead
