Hiking – Mud Lake
This is a DOGGIE HIKE for RMOTHG pups and their people. We'll hike at a casual pace for approximately 2.5 miles and 250 feet elevation gain.

Please bring the usual...water, lunch, ID, medical card, personal first aid kit and gear for changing weather. Please notify leader of any medical conditions that may impact your hike.
Also bring water and snacks for your happy dog. CMC Denver Group official dog hikes policy states that we adhere to all pertinent leash laws. Please keep dog on leash at all times. Dogs must have vaccinations up to date. Dog owners are solely responsible for their dog's good behavior and any liability arising from their dog's behavior. We will eat lunch at covered tables at the end of hike.
At this time of year we should enjoy Aspen color on Peak to Peak highway. If hikers and dogs are doing well we can add a bit more mileage.
Meeting place: Mud Lake trailhead. Drive north on CO-93 to CO-72 (Coal Creek Canyon) and turn left. Turn right onto CO-119/72 (Peak to Peak Highway) and head to Nederland. At traffic circle (2nd St) take 4th exit to continue on CO-72. Look for sign "Caribou Ranch Open Space" and make sharp left turn onto County Rd 126. Left turn to reach Mud Lake parking lot at 2034 County Rd 126, Nederland, CO 80466.
