Hiking – NCAR TH to Mallory Cave
Hike from the parking lot to the trail head. Enjoy many flowers as we head down a connecting trail, to take us across the Mesa trail, and onto the Mallory Trail. Then a steep climb through the trees to the top.

We will meet in the parking lot at NCAR. Boulder at 8 AM. Drive around the outer row of cars until you see my grey Chevrolet pick-up, with a shell topper. To get there take Hwy. 36,{Boulder Turnpike} from Denver or Hwy 93 from Golden, to Table Mesa Dr. and go west until it ends in the foothills. Call David Riter at home, 720-353-4747 before the hike day. 720-403-1864, after 6:30 AM the day of the hike. Steep rocky trail in the trees. Bring poles, plenty of water and energy snacks when we arrive at the top. I plan to go inside and look at the interesting things that are worth seeing inside. Free! Also I plan to have lunch in the cafeteria $12 - $ 15. I have had it before, 2 times and it was very good. So that is an option for all who wish to do the same. You can also have the option of heading home after the hike. Cheers!
