I will need to know where you'd like your meeting place to be so I can figure out car pools.  Parking is limited so we need to take as few cars as possible. Parking is on the side of the road approximately a 10th of a mile before Peaceful Valley Campground.
PLEASE NOTE:  THIS IS NOT A "HIKE" PER SE AS WE WILL BE STOPPING A LOT TO LEARN ABOUT DIFFERENT FLOWERS.
Come explore Peaceful Valley as we search for our State flower, the Colorado columbine.  We'll also see and learn about many other floral gems of the subalpine forest.  This walk is especially for those new to Colorado wildflowers but all levels are welcome.   Barbara Fahey, founder of CSU's Native Plant Master Program will be our guest speaker.  The trail is rocky at times with short ups and downs and minimal elevation gain.
