Hiking – Pollock Bench Trailhead

This is 8 mile hike with overlooks of vistas of red rock canyons. A moderate hike with about 1,000 elevation gain. We will be hiking the Pollock Bench trail, traveling into Pollock Canyon to Pollock Arch, returning on the Flume trail.

We will meet at 8:30 am the Pollock Bench trailhead in the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area.

From Highway 340 near Fruita, CO, travel west on Kingsview Road. The Trailhead is approximately 3.3 miles from this intersection on the left.

Within Pollock Canyon, sections of the trail will be narrow and steep.
