This will be a fast-paced morning hike along the Eagle's View Loop in Reynold's Park. The trail is a well-maintained single track which ascends up to a scenic overlook of the South Platte Valley and Pike's Peak before circling back to the trailhead.
Meet at the trailhead at 6:15 am. We will begin hiking shortly after all members are accounted for, but no later than 6:25. Expect the total trip to take about 2 hours.
Note this route differs slightly from the one listed on the CMC's Routes and Places. See the below AllTrails link for specific route details:
Length: 4.5 mi
Elevation gain: 1066 ft
Trail morphology: loop/lollipop

There will be an opportunity afterward for those interested to socialize at a local cafe (likely the Aspen Perk) for coffee and breakfast.
Please only sign up for this trip if you can maintain a 2.5 mph pace for the duration of the hike. We will take a brief break at the top to take in the views. Please consider the pacing/your fitness and the impact it may have on other participants' time constraints when you join as some members may be leaving directly for work.
Plan to meet at the trailhead at 6:15 am.
