I'd like to try a hike to RMNP's gorgeous Sky Pond for sunrise. This is a fairly challenging hike: a little over 5 miles to the lake. Then savor the morning light. Return is the same way. There is a small scrambly section just before our destination.
3 am Sandstone Parking Lot, Lyons
(south-side of Sandstone Park)
~4 am Bear Lake Trailhead in RMNP
