Hiking – RMNP - Crystal Lakes
The hike to Crystal Lakes via the Lawn Lake Trailhead in Rocky Mountain National Park is a strenuous 15.4 to 15.5-mile round-trip trek. It features roughly 3,200 feet of elevation gain, taking you past Lawn Lake at 10,987 feet up to the alpine setting of Little Crystal Lake and Crystal Lake at 11,500+ feet beneath Mount Fairchild

This is a beautiful hike to two alpine lakes. Hopefully wildflowers will still be blooming. This will be a long day so please only sign up if you are capable of hiking for 8-10 hours with minimal breaks. Please bring plenty of food and water. There will be opportunity to filter water at the lakes.
Meeting place and time will depend on where participants are coming from.
Final Meeting Place will be LAWN LAKE TH in RMNP at 7:00 am
Northern Colorado members may meet at Lyons PNR on Railroad Ave. at 5:55 am to carpool to Lawn Lake TH. I will meet there.
Denver area participants may suggest an ideal meeting place that will be shared.
Once I have a participant list, we will confirm start time and meeting spots.
