Hiking – RMNP - Ouzel Falls - Calypso Cascades

This is a beautiful trail that goes through forest along the North St. Vrain Creek. Wild flowers and wildlife are often spotted along the trail. Much of the trail is a slow, continuous climb, but there are some steeper sections and periodic steps. This is a slow, relaxed hike with time for breaks and pictures. Plan to enjoy lunch/snack at the waterfall before heading back to the trailhead.

Time: 6:15 for at 6:30 departure

Where: Morrison Park N Ride (16283 Morrison Road-across from the Phillips 66).

There is a bathroom at the Phillips 66. Please stop there if needed before coming to the parking lot.

There is limited parking at the trailhead, so we will carpool, using the Wild Basin entry to RMNP, arriving around 8:30, before the timed entry begins at 9:00.  Note: Cell phone coverage in RMNP is limited, so please download driving directions and trail map before arriving.

Each car will need a National Parks pass. Please bring yours along if you have one.
