Hiking – Royal Gorge Park
Enjoy beautiful views on this hike along the top of the Royal Gorge, 8 miles prox., 650 feet elevation gain. The trip starts at the Point Alta Vista TH, flows into the One Track Mind Trail, then turns onto the Made in the Shade Trail. From Made in the Shade TH we will walk back up the road to the parking lot. Due to some site-seeing options the length of the trail may vary. Dogs welcome.

Although a relatively easy hike be prepared for rolling hills and loose rocks. Consider bringing trekking poles along with the ten essentials.
Dogs are welcome, on leash, be prepared to pick up ad carry poo with you (baggies and a canister for the baggies). Bring water for your pup.

Those wishing to carpool, or caravan, from Pueblo will meet at the SE corner of the Albertsons parking lot in 1601 US 50 in Pueblo. We will leave at 8:30am.
If anyone wants to meet at the Point Alta Vista trailhead plan to be there by 9:15am. The parking lot is at 4218 Co Rd 3A, Canon City.
