This is the “Ruby Gulch Traverse”, a long traverse with a LOT of elevation gain, with some steep sections and a lot of ups and downs, mostly along the ridgeline connecting 4 13ers (Engelmann Peak, Robeson Peak, Bard Peak, and Mt Parnassus) and Woods Mountain.  In some areas there is a trail, but in most areas there’s no trail so it’s a tundra walk.  There is some Class 2 scrambling, and some notches that can be avoided with route finding.

Meet at Wooly Mammoth - Section BB, across from the Exxon gas station, at 6:00am, so we can form carpools and leave no later than 6:10am.  Here’s a Google Maps link to the “Wooly Mammoth Park-N-Ride”: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ureNbXygtrukNp8fA

The trailhead for this hike is the Ruby Gulch Trailhead, just off US40 between Empire and Berthoud Pass.  Here’s a Google Maps link for the “Long Lake Trail Head”:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/oU5V4j8AixNQTRJ38
