Hiking – South Valley Park
Easy walk on Valley View Trail, which is paved and next to South Valley Jeffco Park. We will start and end at South Valley North parking lot. If conditions improve, we will hike on natural surface trails in South Valley Park.

Although this is listed as an Octogenarian hike, anyone wanting an easy walk is welcome.

Meet at 9:00
There is a restroom at the trailhead.
This will be an easy and short out and back hike on a paved path with beautiful views of red rocks and South Valley. If the natural surface trails dry out, we will instead hike on the South Valley trails.
If you wish, bring a lunch and we can eat at picnic tables at North Trailhead after the hike. You can leave your lunch in your car.
Required Equipment
Since this will be on paved paths, comfortable shoes with good traction should be fine. Bring your rubber tips for walking poles if desired.
