• Details: Indulge in the quintessence of elevated pub fare, featuring 12 house-brewed craft beers, a full bar, and a menu crafted from scratch with premium local ingredients. Every dish celebrates Colorado’s culinary richness from smoked wings to dry-aged beef burgers, crispy fish and chips to delectable handheld sandwiches and wraps. • Note: Attendance is completely voluntary. Anyone is welcome to join for the social hour, even if you did not participate in the morning hike! If you or a friend will be joining the social hour but NOT the hike, please send me an email so we can give the pub a proper headcount!
• Note: The post-hike social hour is for our own fun. This social hour is not an officially sponsored CMC event and therefore the CMC is released of any liabilities/responsibilities once the hike is completed.

Colorado Mountain Club · Prism Peak Section (Hosted via Trailblazers)

This is a easy-to-moderate, social morning on the trail! The hike will be followed by a social drinks and eats gathering!

Prism Peak is a community within the CMC dedicated to making the outdoors a more welcoming space for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and woman hikers (as well as allies). The focus is on building community, taking up space in the outdoors, and lowering the barriers that have historically kept many people from accessing Colorado's public lands and mountain spaces. The mountains are for everyone, y'all means all!

Sun & UV Exposure: Portions of the trail pass through open meadows with direct exposure. Please dress for high UV risk (sunscreen, sun shirt/breathable layers, sunglasses, +/- a wide-brim hat).

  • Leader Spotting: Look for the Pride flag near the leader / trailhead area!
  • Note*:This is a small-ish sized parking lot so carpool is encouraged! If you plan on carpooling, please email me as soon as you sign up for this event so that I can get carpools coordinated.
• Timeline:
  • 8:40 AM – 8:50 AM: Arrive and check in at the trailhead gathering area.
  • 8:50 AM: Group circle, safety briefing, and introductions (feel free to come up with ideas for your own trail name to share—mine is 'Spruce Goose'!).
  • 9:00 AM Sharp: Boots on the trail, time to hike!
