This trip follows the AllTrails route at https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/stanley-mountain-trail. We'll be on trail on a long, broad ridge above treeline for most of the hike, so we'll need to keep an eye on weather conditions.
I expect there will be little snow left on the trail by the day of the hike, and mostly will be below treeline.
For those who are interested, we'll find a social stop after the hike. Location TBD - I am open to suggestions!
We'll meet bright and early for a carpool at the Wooly Mammoth Park N Ride just off of I-70 Exit 259 (Morrison/Golden), Section BB (across from the Exxon gas station). If you'd like to carpool, get there a few minutes before 6:30 AM, and we'll depart at 6:30 AM.
If you'd like to meet at the trailhead, be at Berthoud Pass Parking Lot at 7:30 AM.
