Hiking – Staunton State Park - Bear Paw Trail Loop
Join us for a great view hike. We will have just returned from two months at sea level and this is one of our go-to hikes for re-acclimation to Colorado hiking before we start our summer Ascending Skill-Builder series with Jean Hart. Better with friends!

We have led this hike many times in all seasons. It provides a variety of terrain with both steep and flat areas. There are some great view spots on the edge of the cliff so we'll divert off the main trail to enjoy those places.
We'll basically climb up and over the NE corner of the park, returning to our cars via the Old Mill and Staunton Ranch Trails. We'll send out a gpx and map in our pre-trip email.
We will meet at the Morrison Park & Ride, 3485 S Rooney Rd, Morrison, CO 80465. Be there by 8:15am for a prompt 8:30am drive away. We may move to an earlier time if it looks to be a hot day.
We will carpool to the Meadow Lot to start our hike. There are restrooms there.
