Hiking – Stoney Pass - near Bailey

We will hike on an old closed forest road toward our nominal destination for two hours or so, then turn around and head back to the cars. Slow pace. We may need to step over deadfall at times.

If there is interest, lunch will be at Cutthroat Cafe in Bailey. Please advise privately of any medical conditions or medications that could impact your hike safety.

Meetup Time: Leave at 8 am

Meetup Place: Leave from parking along the highway outside The Fort
restaurant, 19192 Highway 8, Morrison, CO.   Parking only allowed south of the southern entrance to the Fort. SUV's (CRV, Forester, etc) will be needed for crossing small water hazard on Stoney Pass Road. Driving distance is 84 mi RT = $25 shared by carpool occupants.
